what it’s like working at Topaz Farm

Working at the farm is an exciting, fast-paced, busy, customer service oriented job where each day looks a little different. We are a close-knit team of individuals who enjoy working together and working with customers to provide the best farm-experience possible. Employees must be flexible and independent as they may perform a variety of roles from shift-to-shift.

CURRENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE

• Cashier

• Bar/coffee

• Restocker

• Ticket taker (at events and in the sunflower and sorghum mazes)

• Farm Greeter

• Grill cooks (valid food handlers card, basic knife skills, general understanding of kitchen equipment and use)

• Farm to Plate Servers

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN EMPLOYEES

• Enthusiastic, friendly and positive attitude 

• Ability to multitask 

• Must work well with others in a team environment

• Prompt and courteous customer service skills

• Dependable and punctual 

• Self-motivated and self-initiated but able to take direction

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants must:

  • Be able to work at least two shifts per week 

  • Be 16 years of age or older

  • Have reliable transportation

  • Have a clean criminal record

  • Be able to work the entire season (including weekends in September and October)
