Bluegrass, folk, country,
and summer nights on the farm...

2024 Americana Harvest Fest!

We loved last year's series and are taking it up a notch (or two!) for 2024 with a mix of nationally and internationally known folk, country, and bluegrass artists late June through August.

Adult tickets are $20 most nights and all Thursday nights will feature a limited number of 50% off tickets for kids ages 3 to 17 (and free for ages two and under - no tickets required). And due to popular request, we’ve added some 18-and-over nights that take place on other nights of the week.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy live music on the farm, surrounded by farm animals, u-pick fields, market bar, and grill. Come early to enjoy the farm, including the cow train, fresh grilled farm food, craft beer, cider, and more.

The farm entrance, bar and grill will open at 5:00 p.m. and the shows start at 6:30 p.m.

The Brothers Comatose (ages 18+)

PLUS SPECIAL GUEST

Whether traveling to gigs on horseback or by tour bus, Americana mavens The Brothers Comatose forge their own path with raucous West Coast renderings of traditional bluegrass, country and rock ‘n’ roll music. The five-piece string band is anything but a traditional acoustic outfit with their fierce musicianship and rowdy, rock concert-like shows.

The Brothers Comatose is comprised of brothers Ben Morrison (guitar, vocals) and Alex Morrison (banjo, vocals), Steve Height (bass), Philip Brezina (violin), and Greg Fleischut (mandolin, vocals). When they’re not headlining The Fillmore for a sold-out show or appearing at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, the band is out on the road performing across America, Canada, Australia, and hosting their very own music festival, Comatopia, in the Sierra foothills.

“This isn’t your daddy’s bluegrass anymore.”

Riley Downing

PLUS SPECIAL GUEST

You may know Riley Downing from his work with acclaimed New Orleans combo the Deslondes, or perhaps from his similarly rootsy and wide-ranging catalog of songs with the Tumbleweeds – indeed, the Missouri-based singer-songwriter’s ability to set gripping, evocative narratives within soundscapes that weave together country, blues, folk, r&b, bluegrass, rock, soul and whatever else catches his ear is something that, once you hear it, is hard to shake free from.

Same goes for that voice – deep, dusty and drawling, it’s an instrument that can stop you in your tracks with its character and expressiveness, as well as through Downing’s knack for laying out complex emotions in plainspoken, direct language.

Margo Cilker

PLUS SPECIAL GUEST

Topaz Farm proudly welcomes the critically-acclaimed Margo Cilker to the farm! Prepare for a special evening of music from the self-described, “folk singer in the West.”

“It’s been a good couple of years for Margo Cilker. After releasing her debut album, Pohorylle, in 2021 via Portland’s Fluff & Gravy Records, Cilker ended up on numerous year-end best-of lists with comparisons to legends like Lucinda Williams. The acclaim continued with this year’s Valley of Heart’s Delight, which may be better than its predecessor as Cilker continues to dial in her Americana-laced alt-country with poignant songs and vocals that can bring tears to your eyes.”

Town Mountain

PLUS SPECIAL GUEST, BOY GOLDEN

Hailing from Asheville, North Carolina, Town Mountain is bringing their blend of Americana, alt-country, bluegrass and folk roots for an amazing night on the farm!

Raw, soulful, and with plenty of swagger, Town Mountain has earned raves for their hard-driving sound, their in-house songwriting and the honky-tonk edge that permeates their exhilarating live performances, whether in a packed club or at a sold-out festival.

The hearty base of Town Mountain's music is the first and second generation of bluegrass spiced with country, old school rock ‘n’ roll, and boogie-woogie. It's what else goes into the mix that brings it all to life both on stage and on record and reflects the group's wide-ranging influences – from the Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia and the ethereal lyrics of Robert Hunter to the honest, vintage country of Willie, Waylon, and Merle.

The Rolling Stone says 'Call it an evolution or a revolution but its clear that Town Mountain is at the forefront.'
