Join us for a relaxed evening of sipping and birding at Topaz Farm!

Whether you're new to birdwatching or just enjoy a peaceful walk outdoors, this evening is designed to help you connect with the birds that call Sauvie Island home. We’ll begin with a refreshing drink (included) and have farm-fresh food available for purchase before heading out for a guided evening stroll.

Our regenerative farm creates a thriving habitat for a wide range of wildlife. During this special-access walk, we may spot raptors like Osprey and American Kestrels, as well as swallows, swifts, and more—all set against the backdrop of the island’s stunning landscape.

Binoculars provided.

This walk is led by the dynamic Camilia Zollars, Educator and Public Programs & Partnership Specialist at Bird Alliance of Oregon.

Additional Information:

Food: Arrive early to order food from our farm grill or pick up food from the farm market, which both close at 6:00 PM.

Check-In: Please check in 5:00-6:00 PM at the farm's bar/grill counter.

Includes: A frozé or cold drink of your choice.

Ages: This event is 18+ only and the farm will be closed to the public. In other words, don't bring any other guests unless they have tickets!

TriMet: For public transit take the TriMet #16 bus to the Sauvie Island Park and Ride (NW Sauvie Island Rd. & Gillihan Rd.), which is approximately one mile from the farm.

Summer 2025 “Sip &” Series

This event is part of our new Summer 2025 “Sip &” Series — Wednesday evenings on the farm, after hours.

It’s all about slowing down midweek and spending time doing something with your hands, your heart, and maybe a frosé in the mix. Whether you're dyeing, fermenting, pickling, printing, or just reading quietly under our 500-year-old oak… these nights are about gathering in a relaxed, creative space and letting the farm do what it does best — inspire.
