Why It’s Become a Topaz Tradition

  • Crafted by Michelin-Starred Chefs Christian & Janelle Ephrem

  • A six-year Sauvie Island tradition

  • Fully cooked & ready to heat — minimal prep, maximum flavor

  • Pickup experience at the farm — say hi to the animals and shop the market for holiday goodies, fresh produce, hand pies, and gifts

It doesn’t get much fresher than eating a meal in the very place where the ingredients were grown. Topaz Farm’s resident “farm-to-plate” chefs and culinary power couple Christian and Janelle Ephrem will craft a series of five-course meals sourced from Topaz itself, with menus designed mere days in advance and produce harvested just hours before the dinner.

Ten miles outside of the city is the dreamy Sauvie Island (also known as Wapato Island), a 26,000-acre oasis in the middle of the Columbia River… One favorite spot open to the public is Topaz Farm. Their farm-to-table dinners take advantage of the region’s bounty and offer a local culinary experience while tapping into Oregon’s rich foodie culture.
