what it’s like working at Topaz Farm
Working at the farm is an exciting, fast-paced, busy, customer service oriented job where each day looks a little different. We are a close-knit team of individuals who enjoy working together and working with customers to provide the best farm-experience possible. Employees must be flexible and independent as they may perform a variety of roles from shift-to-shift.
POSITIONS THAT WILL BE AVAILABLE STARTING IN JUNE:
Farm to Plate Servers (must be 18 years or older)
Cashiers
U-pick staff
Bar/coffee (requires OLCC liquor license, must be 18 years or older)
Restockers
Grill cooks (valid food handlers card required, basic knife skills, general understanding of kitchen equipment and use)
Concert Staff: Bartenders, ticket scanners, bag check, ID check, parking, groundskeeping
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN EMPLOYEES
Enthusiastic, friendly and positive attitude
Ability to multitask
Must work well with others in a team environment
Prompt and courteous customer service skills
Dependable and punctual
Self-motivated and self-initiated but able to take direction
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
Be able to work at least two shifts per week
Be able to work the entire season (June through October)
Be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age if working as a Bartender or Farm to Plate Server)
Have reliable transportation
Have a clean criminal record
Be flexible in performing a variety of job duties
