One week left, then our market will close for the season. As we wrap things up, I assumed the market would start to look bare, but the opposite seems to be true. There is a bounty of beautiful crops being harvested right now, filling the market with such color and goodness.

We harvested the last of our peppers and tomatoes, before the temperatures dropped. As people have been picking their pumpkins this week, we’ve been in the fields beside them pulling our final carrots and beets out of the soil.

When we bought the farm in January, and started this chapter of our lives, Jim and I could not have imagined how much support we would receive or how much fun we would have, even with all the challenges.

I’m feeling extremely emotional as we wrap up our first season.

Our last day is next Sunday, Nov 1st, from 9am to 4pm. If you have a chance, please come by, say hi before we close.

Thank you for an amazing first season, with love,
Kat + Jim
